Wedge wire filter element also named wedge wire screen is made of V-shape profile wire and longitudinal support rods. Each intersecting point of these wires is fusion welded which makes it has sturdy construction and good mechanical property. The profile wire and support rod can be axial wire or radial wire. It mainly includes internal filtration, external direction filtration. According to the different usage, we can design the flow direction and shape to meet the application requirements. What's more, we can customized the wedge wire filter element such as filter tube, filter basket based on the clients requirements.

For all of our casing pipes we provide processing into liner pipes. High precision laser cutting ensures every slot is 100% up to specs. You can either provide a drawing or we will recommend a slot layout according to your individual requirements.

Each tube is wrapped in a plastic membrane or according to customers' demand.
Slot Types
Straight Mill Slotting
The slots of this slot type are of equal width throughout the wall of the casing, and therefore are more susceptible to clogging by sand from the formation than the Keystone slot described below. The slots are normally cleaned by hydro washing.
Keystone / Undercut Slotting
Trapezoidal seam design making the outer surface of the slot wider than the inner surface, thus greatly reducing the chance of slot clogging clogging. Typically, the trapezoidal slot angle is designed to be 6°.
Slot patterns
Slots are either arranged in parallel or in an offset pattern. The offset pattern offers a better stability.
