Zinc alloy sacrificial anode

The cathodic protection method of zinc anode is to connect a metal or alloy that is more likely to lose electrons to protect steel equipment. For example: the protection of steel gates, some use this method. It is a more active metal, such as zinc, which is attached to the steel gate. In this way, when galvanic corrosion occurs, the metal that is more active than iron is corroded, and iron is protected. Usually, a certain amount of zinc blocks are installed at the stern of the ship and below the waterline of the hull to prevent the hull from corroding. This is the method used.

 At present, electrochemical protection is not only used to protect steel equipment in sea water or rivers, but also to prevent corrosion of cables, petroleum pipelines, underground equipment, and chemical equipment. Aluminum alloy sacrificial anodes are suitable for cathodic protection of metal corrosion protection for ships, mechanical equipment, marine engineering and seaport facilities in seawater media, pipelines, cables and other facilities in sea mud, and soil media with low resistivity.

Precautions for use: 1. Keep the surface clean. 2. When using in the soil, the soil resistivity should be less than 15 ohm·m, and it is recommended to use it with a special packing package

Sacrificial Magnesium Anode Specifications:
 
High Potential HP Magnesium anode are made from high-purity magnesium, they could produce a higher driving voltage than conventional magnesium anodes, so high potential magnesium anodes are suited for structures buried in soils with resistivities in excess of 2,000 ohm/cm.
We adopt special technology, the anodes have superior electrochemical properties, in practical experience, the actual measured driving potential is between -1.8V to -1.85V, thus provide most powerful protection to the targeted structure. The anodes are consumpted uniformly, thereof the anodes have a longer working life.
 
Our magnesium anode all manufactured and tested according to latest international standards, such as ASTM B843 and ASTM G97,It's available from both M1C( high Potential)or AZ63B(standard Potential)magnesium anode.
Sacrificial Magnesium Anode Application :

Pb-tin alloy is used for the anode to form an insoluble anode. The replenishment of chromium in the chromium plating process is achieved by directly adding chromate to the plating solution. Unlike zinc plating, which requires anode dissolution to provide zinc ions, chromium plating does not require anode dissolution, which means that chromium plating requires insoluble anodes. Lead-tin alloy is used, and some antimony is sometimes added.

1. Dense internal structure, no cold barrier, shrinkage cavity, shrinkage porosity. 
2. It has been extruded many times by special calendering equipment, which has high strength, is not easy to bend and deform, and at the same time improves the conductivity of the anode. 
3. Due to the use of rolling production technology and the increase of tin content, its corrosion resistance has been improved, the surface is not easy to generate lead chromate and passivation, and the anode slag is less, making the plating solution cleaner.

Pb alloy anode is widely used in Zinc, Copper, Nickel, Cobalt and Manganese EW industry for its inert property low production cost . 
Pb alloy rolling plate, with uniform crystal structure, is better in anti-corrosion and mechanical performance stability. 
The hanger bar which is certain mm thickness Pb cladding around Sn electro-plating on copper bar, has better anti-corrosion to acid mist during electro-winning. 
Pb plate connects to hanger bar through two-side welding with Pb cladding, or plate plug-in welding. we also have the Ti-MMO anode. It has better mechanical strength, lower solubleness in the acid, lower resistance, high current with no deformation, maintainability and long-life. Double side full welding technology
Welding
Perfect welding technology (Double-side full laser welding) is used to connect stainless steel blank / Titanium plate with hanger bar. It does not use flux to connect, which is successful to avoid the weld seam defects and maximize preventing corrosion.



 A hanger bar for a cathode plate and a method of producing a cathode for electrolytic recovery of metal. The hanger bar comprises a support element  which is preferably stainless steel and hollow. An electrically conductive metal cladding is affixed the stainless steel bar by any appropriate mechanism, eg interference fit, welding, chemical or mechanical fastening or coextrusion or roll forming. Affixing the cladding to the stainless steel support element has significant advantages over conventional electroplating techniques including that a more precise engineering specification can be applied to the cladding thickness.
